ProBoxTV, Robert Garcias House of Champions and Golden Boy Promotions brings massive double-header event to the Save Mart Center in Fresno,Ca on Saturday July 12th
ProboxTV, in collaboration with Robert Garcia's House of Champions and Golden Boy Promotions, is heading to the Save Mart Center in Fresno,California on Saturday July 12th with an exciting two shows under one roof event. The event is set to bring and overall 16 professional bouts and 1 amateur bout. It is rumored by Rick Mirigian that big names such as Robert Garcia, Jose Ramirez, Arnold Barboza Jr and many more are to be in attendance.
Local Contenders, including Golden Boy Signee, Fresno’s Jordan Fuentes are set to compete in the second half of this “double-header” event. Samuel Castellanos from Hollister,California will be making his Central Valley debut, after a successful Professional debut fight under the Golden Boy banner.
Rising stars, Karlos Balderas, Jorge Maravillo and Jessie Guerrero are also featured in the local portion of the show. These fighters have been making a statement all throughout California and look to bring all the action closer to home.
The first portion of this Double Header will be televised with ProBox TV’s Contender Series, Headlined by #2 in the WBA Lester Martinez (19-0, 16KOs) as he takes on Pierre Dibombe (22-2-1, 12KOs). Also featured will be a WBC Title eliminator bout between Erick Badillo (17-0 8KOs) and Gerardo Zapata (15-2-1, 5KOs). The hard hitting contender fighting out of Stockton, California, Vladimir Hernandez (17-6,7 KOs) will also be featured on the card.
Fighting sensation from Bakersfield California , 14 year old Rowdy Ryan Martinez is scheduled to compete in a special feature amateur bout. Rowdy Ryan carried a social media following of 500 thousand followers and almost 1 million across all platforms. Dana White has referred to him as a “future BMF” after the young fighter took to social media in a video stating he would be the next champion of the world in due time.
