Jake Paul’s MVP hosts its first live MMA event on Netflix with Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano

On May 16, 2026, the MMA universe gets a time-warp superfight as Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions sets its first live MMA event on Netflix with Women’s MMA legends Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood,CA. The superfight will be a five-round bout contested at 145 lbs, marking Rousey’s featherweight debut. An Interesting fact, the fight will take place in a hexagon cage rather than the traditional octagon we are used to seeing.

The former UFC Bantamweight Champion and Judo specialist, Ronda Rousey, took to instagram on February 17 to announce her much anticipated come back and partnership with MVP stating “Been waiting so long to announce this: Me and @ginacarano are gonna throw down in the biggest super fight in women’s combat sport history!” Rousey wrote on X. “We’re partnering up with the fighter-first promotion @MostVpromotions as well as the baddest streamer on the planet @netflix! This is for all MMA fans past, present and future. More to come…Much more.” Fans have been speculating a possible return to combat as videos surfaced of Rousey sparring back in December 2025.
